We can already send notifications to members by First Name by adding “Hi !{firstName}”. The personalised notification gets a better response than a generic, anonymous message.

Would like to be able to do the same when sending via Teamomail.

Ollie that's great. I saw the message at the time. But now can't find it again in the Help Centre or message. I recall it was different code to the notifications. Please can you remind me what nomenclature/code to use in an email to send to first names?

Found it in the email Receipt!!
Personalise your emails
Add firstnames into your emails to give them a personal touch
Add in $$[firstName] to your emails and let Teamo automatically add in recipients names
Preview your emails
See a preview of your email before sending it to the whole club.
Send your email to "preview+wilmslowhockey@teamomail.com" and receive a version, branded in your club colours

Any update on this one? In broadcast if I use !{firstName} and choose to an send email copy too, members will currently see their own name in the chat message but "!{firstName}" in the email which isn't great.

Some anti spam technologies search for a name (or lack of) before marking as spam. This might help with the number of people not receiving their teamomails too.
