Send app links via email/WhatsApp etc

We find members respond better to messaging on WhatsApp than Teamo, although we use both. What would really help would be able to embed a link in a WhatsApp message (or webpage or social media message) which opens the target IN THE APP, not in a webpage, thereby allowing the recipient to action the request in the app immediately. E.g. request for availability, sent on WhatsApp, opened and actioned IN THE APP. E.g. email invite to next social event, opened and ticket purchased IN THE APP.
I’m aware it’s possible to send a link to an event, but the webpage that opens is read-only, not actionable. I.e. can’t put in availability or buy a ticket etc.

We really struggle with parents reading or responding to Teamo messages. We have had to implement WhatsApp groups to get messages read which is really an admin overhead. Feedback from parents is they have so many apps and emails they just get lost. WhatsApp seems to be the preferred way of messaging and get a far better response rate.

I've had similar to you Chris Nightingale - Telford & Wrekin HC but I half of the time suspect its incompetent users....
We explicitly banned whatsapp groups within the club for privacy and welfare reasons now that we've moved to Teamo with its group messaging and match messaging systems, which are transparent and allow guardian/parent access to every message.

Stephen Denman: I think you have exactly the right approach! We are in the process of switching all club-related chat to Teamo for the same reasons 👍.

We pushed out a message notifications to 275 people one evening and we got feedback not everyone got the notification. I have no audit log too that would of helped me
