We'd like to be able to capture ECB DBS details (Status, Renewal Date, DBS ID) so that we can easily report/renew these.

From a cricket point of view, the ECB do have a system that captures this and key club roles. https://shms.powerappsportals.com/

We have to use this as a Berkshire club.

Having this would be great for compliance; equally having a couple of user defined fields would be helpful to capture first aiders / coaching qualifications / umpiring course etc

Great idea. We have to maintain a separate database for all this and that comes with its own GDPR compliance headaches
